Spooky, Witty & Crazy: 3 Words to Describe Halloween at Lumenvo in 2021

Halloween at Lumenvo in 2021 highlighted creativity and wit as we put on spooky and fun costumes for our first virtual Halloween party.

If you think Halloween is just for kids, then you are wrong. Halloween is the only time of the year that you can be anyone or anything you like and get away with it, so long as it is not offensive. You can spook everyone with your zombie bride look or channel your inner superhero strength with your beloved Marvel character.

You see, Halloween is for adults, too. We might not have trick-or-treated outside during the pandemic, but we made sure this time to showcase our creativity in our first Lumenvo Halloween Party.

Virtual Halloween Party Is On!

Dressing up for Halloween never goes out of style. Still, we stepped it up a bit by making this virtual activity more fun and interactive.

The party started with everyone’s camera turned off. One by one, we showed what we had put together for the activity. But the catch was that we had to guess each other’s costumes. For every correct guess, we earned a point, and this decided who would be exempted from leading our daily virtual calls for an entire week.

Jeiel wore a jacket with a matching red tie and painted red swirls on each cheek to look like Jigsaw from Saw. Naz completed his PennyWise ensemble with a red balloon, and Jake wore a Ghostface mask made famous by the Scream movie franchise.

Equally creative and witty, Febby opened the show blinged out with grills made of foil, a box of Nerds, and logos of M&M’s and Reese’s to complete her ‘Candy wRAPper from the block’ vibe. Nona channeled a pop icon through her ‘low-budget, Venti-sized’ Ariana Grande look, while Adele’s tricky but witty chicken cordon bleu costume got our brain cells worked up.

Everyone gave their best shot dressing up in scary, cute, witty, and creative ‘fits and in introducing who or what they were. But it was David’s Captain Jack Sparrow that won ‘Best Halloween Costume.’
